What is the Nursery Program?
Our Nursery program supports the RIE principal which emphasises respectful and responsive care. It encourages observing and understanding each child’s individual needs to allow children to learn and grow in confidence. By fostering the children’s independence, trust, and meaningful interactions through stimulating play, music, storytelling, creative experiences and physical challenges, we support infants in developing their communication, emotional expression, cognitive skills and more at their own pace.
Our Routine

All of our routines are flexible and adaptable to the children's needs, ensuring that each child's individual rhythm and interests guide their daily experiences. This approach fosters a sense of autonomy and confidence, allowing children to thrive in an environment that respects and nurtures their unique developmental journey.

What is your daily routine for the Nursery?

At Simba Education, we believe that flexibility is key to fostering an environment where children thrive. A flexible routine is central to our approach as flexibility allows us to adapt our daily schedule based on the interests, needs, and rhythms of the children. Each group of children is unique so a flexible routine allows us to respond to the dynamics of the group, whether that means extending a popular activity, adjusting to varying energy levels, or incorporating teachable moments as they arise. For an example of our Nursery daily routine, see above.

I am still breastfeeding, can I still bring my child to care?

Absolutely. We are a breastfeeding safe service and can provide a quiet space for you to breastfeed or express when you need. Alternatively, If you are expressing, you can bring the breast milk in a breast milk safe container that is clearly labelled and we will store it safely in our fridge until it is needed.

Are nappies provided?

Yes. We provide nappies, wipes and barrier cream for our children. To see a full list of our offerings see our location pages.
