• Flexible session lengths (9 or 10 hours) are available based on the hours your child is enrolled to attend. Session availability may vary by centre.
• The session fee is set for the group your child is enrolled in and applies to the session you book. The same session fee applies whether you book a 9 or 10 hour session — for example, the preschool session fee of $169 applies to each. Because CCS is calculated on an hourly basis, the hourly fee reported to Services Australia is worked out by dividing the session fee by the length of the session booked, so it differs across a 9 or 10 hour session.
• Your family’s CCS is subsidised up to a set number of hours each fortnight. A longer session uses more of these hours; a shorter session uses fewer. Choosing the session length that reflects your child’s genuine attendance helps you make the most of your subsidised hours, our team is happy to talk the options through with you.
• Fees vary between centres. The amount payable depends on the service your child is enrolled at and the level of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) your family receives.
• If your child attends beyond their booked session hours, the additional hours are charged at the applicable hourly rate and reported as part of the session of care.
• Attendance is reported to Services Australia (Centrelink) in line with CCS requirements, based on the session length you are enrolled and liable for.
